Oxford based Blunt, also known as Tom Harding, has has been smashing the local scene for a huge 13 years, first supporting Jumping Jack Frost and Phantasy at The Coven II, with a mad varied style. Tom’s early musical influences were heavily hip-hop based, listening to the likes of DJ Shadow, Mobb Deep and Public Enemy, and his love of scratching came from watching early DMC Championship videos. He discovered D&B whilst still at school, and the passion for everything drum and bass grew from there. After getting his hands on his first set of decks aged just 16 and rinsing darkside D&B such as Tech Itch, Dom & Roland and Dylan for a few years, he’s developed his own sound, which Blunt describes as rollin, grimey D&B, with some jungle thrown in for good measure.
